VISITING Teacher with PAUA in Taranaki

We are looking for an AWESOME, creative, energetic, passionate ECE Visiting Teacher with great leadership skills to join our team in Taranaki. Is that you?

But before we talk about you… here is a bit about us!

PAUA stands for Preschoolers At-Home Uniquely Achieving, but really PAUA is about whanau - yours, ours and all involved with PAUA. Children are the centre point of all that we do. Ngā tamariki o tātou taonga mo āpōpō - Children are our treasures for tomorrow.

We look for people with integrity, passion and commitment to excellence in all aspects of our service, as we strive to give the best quality to our children, whānau and home-based Educators. We recognise and value the importance of whanaungatanga between staff, our Educators, children, whānau and wider community. Christian values underpin all that is PAUA.

So now about you…

You will be an Early Childhood Teacher with an ability to build strong relationships with children and adults. Have the knack to inspire others (our home-based Educators and their children) which will in turn enhance their educational learning opportunities.

You’ll be a leader, creative, flexible, full of energy and passionate about making a difference in Early Childhood and within your community. Enjoy communicating and marketing; have good time management and ICT skills.

Our core purpose is to provide each PAUA child with the opportunity to develop and achieve uniquely. This means you as a PAUA Visiting Teacher will be full of integrity, able to empower others through noticing, recognising and responding, and always go the extra mile.

You do need to be a qualified ECE teacher (with full or provisional registration).

Experience in a similar role would be fantastic…. But your attitude and values are the most important factors for us. So… if after reading this you are keen to apply for a position in Taranaki, email raewyn@paua.ac.nz for a job description and application forms or phone her on 021-352-364 for more information.
