Alison Ford Dip. Tchg (ECE), Higher Dip Tchg (ECE), B Com
Kia Ora I am the current National Coordinator for CECEAA, appointed in 2005. I have been involved in ECE for over 20 years as a Playcentre Supervisor, ECE teacher, Educator and Care Supervisor, accountant, licensee and trustee. This included being the manager of a large expanding church based ECE service for 15 years. I was involved with a variety of church based community trusts in the role of Community Ministries Pastor for a large Baptist church until the end of 2010. I am currently enjoying being able to focus on CECEAA alongside a little ECE accounting and my family after being involved in so many roles concurrently.
I am passionate about seeing Christian Early Childhood services be professional, dynamic and evolving hubs in their communities. To see these services honour God and be effective in supporting the children and families they serve. To see CECEAA continue to grow as a vibrate network and have a strong voice in ECE in New Zealand.
